Where Is The Kingdom Of God?
2011-01-01 12:11
The kingdom of God 'I AM' is not in the world He created through His Son. All the kingdoms that exist in time and space are just kingdoms of creation, not the kingdom of the only true God.

God said by His prophet, "'Can anyone hide in secret places so that I cannot see him?' declares the LORD. 'Do not I fill heaven and earth?' declares the LORD." (Jeremiah 23:24). As for the kingdom of God, we cannot say, "Here it is," or "There it is."

Therefore, it is written, "Once, having been asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, Jesus replied, "The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, 'Here it is,' or 'There it is,' because the kingdom of God is within you." (Luke 17:20-21).

We cannot say, "Here it is," or "There it is." From the beginning, we have been born of God and are in Christ Jesus. It is written, "It is because of him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God--that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption." (1 Corinthians 1:30). And also, "For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen." (Romans 11:36).

Therefore, heaven, the kingdom of God, is the place where the dead, who heard the voice of His Son, believed in the one who sent him, and were raised, will live forever with Christ in the name of the Son.

Therefore, for the kingdom of God, it is written somewhere that it is coming, and somewhere that we enter it. It is written, "From that time on Jesus began to preach, 'Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is near.'" (Matthew 4:17). For those who believe in the Son, heaven is near, but for those who do not obey the Son, hell is near. The Bible said, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." (John 3:36).

Because the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them that God created through His Son are in time and space, many people think that God is also in time and space. And so they gather together in a certain time and space, and worship in vain there and then.

Therefore, it is written, "'Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.' Jesus declared, 'Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.'" (John 4:20-24). The place where we worship God is not in time and space. It is in spirit and truth.

The same can be said of paradise where the holy people now sleep in Christ. We cannot say, "Here it is," or "There it is." It is written about paradise, "I must go on boasting. Although there is nothing to be gained, I will go on to visions and revelations from the Lord. I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago was caught up to the third heaven. Whether it was in the body or out of the body I do not know--God knows. And I know that this man--whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, but God knows--was caught up to paradise. He heard inexpressible things, things that man is not permitted to tell. I will boast about a man like that, but I will not boast about myself, except about my weaknesses. (2 Corinthians 12:1-5).

Therefore, heaven is the place where the love of God is, and hell is the place where the hate of God is. And so, it is written about heaven, "For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins." (Colossians 1:13-14).

All those who know this truth and will be with our Lord Jesus in the kingdom of God will say Amen to this, "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him." (1 John 4:16). Thank you, Lord.
