Those In Whose Hearts Is No Condemnation
2008-11-15 21:24
Those in whose hearts is no condemnation are the children of God. If anyone has condemnation in his heart--if he has no forgiveness, he does not have faith in Jesus, though he says he believes in the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom He has sent.

Jesus is the sacrifice who redeemed all people on earth from their sins by his own blood once for all, according to the will of God the Father who sent him into the world. It is written, "He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world." (1 John 2:2). God forgave the whole world its sins by the blood of Jesus.

Moses was faithful as a servant for condemnation, testifying to the gospel of redemption that would be said in the future. But Christ was faithful as a son for the forgiveness of sins according to the will of God. Therefore, the Bible says, "Moses was faithful as a servant in all God's house, testifying to what would be said in the future. But Christ is faithful as a son over God's house. And we are his house, if we hold on to our courage and the hope of which we boast." (Hebrews 3:5-6).

All people on earth have been forgiven their sins by the blood of Christ, the sacrifice of righteousness of God. If anyone, saying that he believes in it, does not forgive others their sins, who have freely been forgiven their sins by the blood of Christ, he does not have faith in God and Christ Jesus.

Deeds working in faith are love and forgiveness because the author of faith is love and forgiveness. Therefore, the Bible says, "For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love." (Galatians 5:6). Faith by itself, if it does not have love and forgiveness, is false. Therefore, the Bible says, "As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead." (James 2:26).

The blood of Christ that once for all accomplished the forgiveness of sins in the order of Melchizedek is the gift of God sprinkled on all people on earth equally. If anyone, saying that he is in faith, does not forgive his brother his debts, he does not have faith in Jesus.

Because such a man does not believe in Jesus, he will go into hell, where the fire never goes out--the second death. When I forgive everyone his past sins, I am cleansed from my past sins too. Therefore, being forgiven and forgiving are one. The completion of cancelation of debts is not in receiving the cancelation of a debt of ten thousand talents, but in giving the cancelation of a debt of a hundred denarii.

Because all sins in the world have been forgiven by the blood of His Son, there is no longer any condemnation in this world. It is written, "And where these have been forgiven, there is no longer any sacrifice for sin." (Hebrews 10:18).

Therefore, the Bible says, "and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood. He did this to demonstrate his justice, because in his forbearance he had left the sins committed beforehand unpunished--he did it to demonstrate his justice at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus." (Romans 3:24-26).

Because God bought all sins in the world with the price of the precious blood of Christ, there is no longer any wages of sin. The wages of sin is death. Therefore, the Bible says, "For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive." (1 Corinthians 15:22). If so, how can I disobey the will of God and condemn anyone? Condemnation is now the fearful sin that unbelievers do.

If anyone, saying that his sins have been forgiven, does not forgive others their sins, he does the sin that leads to the second death--the lake of everlastingly unquenchable fire. Therefore, the Lord Jesus said in advance about the sin that leads to the second death, "But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Counselor will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. When he comes, he will convict the world of guilt in regard to sin and righteousness and judgment: in regard to sin, because men do not believe in me." (John 16:7-9).

Because all sins that men do are forgiven by the blood of Jesus, all sins in the world are no longer counted. It is written, "Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him." (Romans 4:8).

This blessing is not restricted to some people. It is a blessing which God gave all people on earth. The word of promise says, "and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me." (Genesis 22:18). And also, "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28).

Therefore, the Lord's apostle wrote, "As the Scripture says, 'Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.' For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him." (Romans 10:11-12).

Therefore, those in whose hearts, by faith in Jesus, is no condemnation are apart from sin. Those who are apart from sin will see the Lord who will appear a second time. It is written, "so Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many. To those who eagerly wait for Him He will appear a second time, apart from sin, for salvation." (Hebrews 9:28). Amen. Thank you, Lord.
