Jesus Who Came on His Own vs. Jesus Who Was Sent by Him

"Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent." (John 17:3).
Between Jesus who came on his own and Jesus who was sent by Him, many people choose Jesus who came on his own. That's because they have turned aside to Satan's deceitfulness and just seek their own salvation and glory, not believing the truth but having pleasure in unrighteousness.
Jesus who came on his own is the false Jesus whom Satan preaches on, but Jesus who was sent by Him is the true Jesus whom the Holy Spirit testifies for. It is not true that God's only begotten Son came on his own to do the work of salvation. In His love, God gave His only begotten Son to the world which will perish.
Jesus himself, who was sent, said, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16). And again, "Jesus said to them, 'If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and now am here. I have not come on my own; but he sent me.'" (John 8:42).
And also the Lord Jesus said, "If anyone chooses to do God's will, he will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own. He who speaks on his own does so to gain honor for himself, but he who works for the honor of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him." (John 7:17-18).
Jesus came in the flesh of man into the world. He did not come on his own for his own will. According to God's will, God Himself commanded and sent Jesus to fulfill His will, His covenant--a promise and an oath that He already made to Abraham.
Therefore, the Son himself, who was sent for the will of the Father, said, "By myself I can do nothing; I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who sent me." (John 5:30).
This truth is not made known to everyone, but by the Holy Spirit it is made known and understood to God's own people who love Him. It is written, "However, as it is written: 'No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.'" (1 Corinthians 2:9).
Many people who are reading these words of testimony know only the false-glory Jesus who came on his own, not Jesus who was sent and made perfect through suffering according to the will of the Father. They have not been set free from the delusion of prideful Satan who wants to be like God.
Jesus, who was sent, became obedient to death of flesh and blood, even death on the cross, to fulfill the will of the one who sent him into the world. The Bible already said about it, "Yet it was the LORD'S will to crush him and cause him to suffer, and though the LORD makes his life a guilt offering, he will see his offspring and prolong his days, and the will of the LORD will prosper in his hand." (Isaiah 53:10).
Therefore, the words of the Lord Jesus are written in the Bible, "Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: 'Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me; with burnt offerings and sin offerings you were not pleased. Then I said, Here I am--it is written about me in the scroll--I have come to do your will, O God.'" (Hebrews 10:5-7).
It is written, "When he had received the drink, Jesus said, 'It is finished.' With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit." (John 19:30). He gave up his spirit after he fulfilled the will of the one who sent him, not his own will.
Therefore, Jesus who came on his own leads to destruction, but Jesus who was sent leads to eternal life. Now this is eternal life: that we may know Him, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom He has sent. But it is still true that small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:14).
Now this is eternal life: that we believe in His only begotten Son whom God has given, and that we know Him, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom He has sent. It is written, "until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of men in their deceitful scheming." (Ephesians 4:13-14). Amen. Thank you, Lord.
